Meet Nanny McPhee, the Adorable Cat With Two Noses Who Needs a Home

Nanny McPhee is not your ordinary cat. She has a rare feature that makes her stand out from the crowd: she has two noses. This unique feline was recently rescued by Cats Protection’s Warrington Adoption Centre in the UK, and is now looking for a loving family to adopt her.

Why is Nanny McPhee a cat with two noses?

According to senior field veterinary officer Fiona Brockbank, Nanny McPhee’s double nose was caused by a congenital abnormality, which means she was born with it. This is a very rare condition, and Brockbank said it was a “first for us” to see.

Fortunately, Nanny McPhee’s two noses do not cause her any health problems or discomfort. She can breathe, eat, and smell normally, just like any other cat. She also has a sweet and gentle personality, and loves to cuddle and play.

Why is she named Nanny McPhee?

Nanny McPhee’s name was inspired by the children’s book and movie character who has a “famously deformed nose”. The staff at the adoption centre thought it was a fitting and funny name for the cat, who also has a black and white coat and a tan streak on her face.

The staff also said they “can’t stop looking at her two noses”, and that they have “all fallen in love with our one-of-a-kind”. They hope that Nanny McPhee’s unusual appearance will attract more attention and potential adopters for her.

How can you adopt Nanny McPhee?

If you are interested in adopting Nanny McPhee, you can contact the Cats Protection’s Warrington Adoption Centre by phone or email. You can also visit their website or Facebook page to see more photos and videos of Nanny McPhee and other cats who need a home.

The adoption centre said they are looking for a “home where she can settle down and become the centre of a loving family”. They also said they are hopeful that Nanny McPhee’s “new-found fame will mean she will have no shortage of potential adopters”.

Nanny McPhee is one of the 590 cats that the adoption centre has homed this year. She is a special and adorable cat who deserves a happy ending. If you think you can give her the love and care she needs, don’t hesitate to contact the adoption centre and make her your new furry friend.
